Modular stainless-steel brewing systems with integrated cooling jacket

The Brewtools B25, B50, B100 and B180 are electric stainless-steel brewing systems based on the malt-pipe principle. They combine mashing, boiling, whirlpool and process cooling in a compact platform for advanced home brewing, pilot production, brewpubs and small commercial breweries.

A major design feature is the indirect heating through the conical kettle base. There are no exposed internal heating elements inside the working area of the kettle. This keeps the interior less obstructed and simplifies cleaning after the brew day.

The integrated cooling jacket allows cooling directly through the vessel. FCS Brewing control, CleanCore™ valve technology and TC34mm connections form the basis for process control and modular expansion. Depending on the model, additional equipment can be added for wort routing, steam management, cleaning and cooling.

External Mash Tuns for B50, B100 and B180

The Brewtools B50, B100 and B180 can be expanded with an external mash tun. This increases malt capacity and provides additional flexibility for high-gravity beers, larger grain bills and recipes with high proportions of specialty malt, wheat, rye or flakes.

Wort is circulated from the main brewing system through the external mash tun and distributed across the grain bed before returning to the main vessel. This turns the all-in-one brewing system into a larger modular mash configuration without immediately changing to a larger brewhouse.

Brewtools Troll System – brewing tables, lifting crane and modular workspace

The Brewtools Troll System adds mobile brewing tables, work surfaces, lifting equipment and mounting solutions to larger Brewtools setups. It is particularly useful when working with external mash tuns, heavy malt pipes or equipment that must be repositioned during the brewing process.

The Troll lifting crane assists with heavy components, while the mobile tables provide a stable base for the brewing system and additional process equipment.

Brewtools Unitanks

The pressure-rated Brewtools F40, F80, F150 and F300 Unitanks are stainless-steel fermentation tanks designed for primary fermentation, pressure fermentation, active cooling, cold crashing and yeast or sediment removal. The F40 and F80 are also available as Light versions.

Depending on the intended workflow, Unitanks can be expanded with FCS fermentation control, spunding valves, cooling connections, HopDrop systems, CIP equipment, filtration, carbonation and filling accessories.

This modular design allows the same tank platform to be configured for advanced home brewing, pilot production, brewpub operation or small commercial fermentation.

Brewtools Brite Tanks

Brewtools Brite 80, Brite 150 and Brite 300 are pressure-rated stainless-steel tanks for conditioning, storage, carbonation and preparation of finished beer for serving or packaging.

Separating fermentation from conditioning allows the Unitank to become available for the next batch while the finished beer remains in the Brite Tank for cold storage, carbonation or packaging.

This makes Brite Tanks particularly relevant for pilot breweries, brewpubs and microbreweries that require a more structured cold-side workflow.

Modular fermentation monitoring and process control

The Brewtools Fluid Control System is a modular platform for fermentation monitoring and automation. Depending on the configuration, the system can monitor and control temperature and pressure. When equipped with a gravity and temperature sensor, it can also continuously measure gravity and record fermentation progress.

Actuators such as pumps and solenoid valves can be integrated to control cooling and other process functions. This makes FCS suitable for individual Unitanks as well as larger setups with several fermentation vessels.

For a predefined configuration, FCS Starter Kits V2 provide the main components in one setup. Brewers who require a specific system architecture can configure FCS individually using display and I/O modules, sensors, actuators and connection components.

A Unitank is primarily used for fermentation, pressure fermentation, cooling and cold crashing. A Brite Tank is mainly used after fermentation for conditioning, storage, carbonation and preparing finished beer for serving or packaging.

What does the Brewtools FCS control?

Depending on the configuration, Brewtools FCS can monitor and control temperature and pressure. With a gravity and temperature sensor, the system can also measure gravity continuously and record fermentation progress. Additional sensors and actuators can be added according to the required level of automation.

Can a Brewtools brewery system be expanded later?

Yes. Brewtools is designed as a modular platform. Brewing systems can be expanded with process accessories and, depending on the model, external mash tuns. Unitanks can be extended with FCS, cooling, CIP equipment, HopDrop systems, filtration, carbonation and filling equipment.
